All parts of the Equine Haler can be cleansed with water and washing-up liquid, apart from the medicine-aerosol, which must never be cleansed with water.

When treating several horses with the same Equine Haler, the nose mask must be disinfected with surgical spirit and then cleaned.

The nose mask must be cleaned after every single treatment. Soak in water mixed with a small amount of fabric softener (must be completely immersed in water) and air-dried. During the period of treatment, the inhaler-flask does not have to be cleaned inside, unless it is necessary. Once a month should be adequate. After the last treatment, the Equine Haler should be disassembled and cleaned. When it is completely dry, it can be reassembled and stored in the closed box, apart from the medicine-aerosol, which must be stored in the medicine-cabinet!
